Also we have had people that the app just opens and closes. This is because you have a app or tweak installed that is messing with Moviebox. So you will need to boot holding the volume up button. Process is below.
As of version 0.9.3997, you can now disable Substrate entirely by holding down Volume Up as the device boots.
This feature allows you to bypass horribly broken extensions (ones that prevent the device from starting up at all) that you may have installed so you can open Cydia and uninstall them.
To support devices that do not have a Volume Up button (the first-generation iPod touch), you can alternatively hold down the “Clicker” (not Volume Up) button on your headset or earphones.
This will help you find out if it is a tweak or app that is causing Moviebox to crash. So after you do the process above you will need to go into Moviebox and see if it crashes if it does then you have another problem, and I will need you to message us on twitter to help solve this.
If you are still getting the server error then you need to install the update for Moviebox. It is version 2.4. You can get it from our repo if you like. cydia.dtathemes.com/repo
