So yesterday Apple released a new peace of tech and it goes by Smart Battery Case. Most of you have seen this by now and wonder what was Apple thinking? The case has a huge backend, as well as a rubber feel to it. This Smart Case comes in at a whopping $99 bucks. Apple claims that the case will increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, and even longer audio and video playback.

Personally I am not a fan of the over all look of the case and the rubber material used to coat it tends to stick to your pockets when pulling the case out. I also think that if I need a charge I would rather use my Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation. It give me close to 3 complete charges and has 2 USB ports on it. 

Don’t get me wrong it’s high time Apple came out with their own charging case. But I think it was a bit rushed, and we will see another build or case come out after the holidays. So if your not a fan of rubber cases and bulky devices this case is not for you.
