OSX El Capitan

El Capitan is the new OSX for iMacs and Macbooks.

First feature demonstrated is the easiness to find the mouse pointer. Pretty cool.

Safari was updated to be able to pin favorite websites, just like a favorite toolbar. Also, they took a leaf out of Chrome’s book and added a speaker icon to know which tab is playing sound.

Spotlight has been updated and it’s faster and more efficient than OSx Yosemite. It allows for more customized search through broader search words and more accurate results.

The email application has been tweaked to work in full screen with easier replies and attachment selection to include in messages.

Overall the OS looks a lot snappier and improved from its predecessor, and it’s available to developers today, public beta in July and will release in the fall.
