Richard Pepler, CEO of HBO took the stage to talk about HBO NOW, a standalone HBO streaming service that requires no cable subscription coming this April. Priced at 14.99/month, Pepler threw in the first month of service for free, “in time for the Game of Thrones Season Premier” on April 12.
Following the trailer for GoT s5, Tim Cook announced that the price for the Apple TV would be dropping from the standard $99 to $69.
