Looks like TaIG has pushed a update for the TaiG jailbreak to support the new iTunes 12.1 (by downloading a driver from a post in 3K BBS). Sadly right now this only supports windows. It is said the team is working on a Mac version and a 8.2 beta version.

This jailbreak works with all devices listed below.

iPhone 6, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S.
iPad Air 2, iPad Air, Retina iPad mini, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad 3, iPad 2.
iPod touch 5G.
